Design can be chaotic, your studio doesn't have to be

My Studio has been a work in progress to say the least. Finding the right workflow and space for an Artist can be a real challenge.

I have a home studio set up downstairs, my basement is unfinished, so if I get paint or glitter on the flor it is not an issue.

The downside? Well The Furnace went out and I had to dissamble the studio so they could move the old one out and the new one in. I have been organizing and reorganizing to see where I likethings to be and how I like them grooped. As soon as I am liking where we are at my water heater went out and I have to start that process all over again. Also the floors are uneven so leveling my work table and drying racks is a PIA.

On the upside, I have found some great products that have made my life so much easier.

For my Colored Pencils I have them organized in wooden drawers this allows me to see what I have and pull a tray to select my color pallet. I have this to the left of my Artist Loft Art Table.

For my work space I found a fantastic custom made drafting table on marketplace.

It is very hevy duty and is on casters :) Everything in my studio is now on casters as I have to be able to move things around for household repairs as needed. (Hopefully not for another 10 years at least.)

I found it for $50 :) We just hade to move it out of their place up a flight of stairs lol it weighs like 300 lbs hence the need gor casters.

I was blessed that my Hubby got it for me for Mother's Day.

It has 4 huge deep drawers on the front

large enough to store my drawing papers.

The back side has adjustable hevy duty built in shelves.

Both sides have display grates that I use while my finished pieces are curing.

To keep My workspace clean I don't knwo what I would do without LOLIVEFE.

Their Scilicone mats are teh best! They clean up like a dream, are great for

drying skins and not wasting paint. They even sent me a bonus scraper

and little crafting spoon with my order. I also want mot mention thath their customer service is amazing!

My Artist Loft Art Table is from Michales

I love the adjustable tabletop and the room the slide out shelf gives.

I also use Visual Edge Slant Board I found on Amazon. It is an Adjustable, Portable Workstation with Magnetic WhiteBoard and 22° Working Surface I just love for colored pencil work.

Lastly I found a listing for industrial wire shelving on Marketplace and got then for $75 each.

This is something comprable from ULine https://www.uline.com/BL_149/Epoxy-Wire-Shelving

you can find whatever sizes fit your needs

and make your space your own.

I hope this gives soem of you ideas how to make the space you have to work for you. I will update this with additional items as I come across them and think you would like :) and of course once I get teh studio all put back together I will post a short video.
